Terms of Service

The agreement between you and the operator of YarNext: what we provide, what you are responsible for, and what happens when either side stops.

Version v2 · In effect since Sep 21, 2026

1Who provides this service

YarNext is an event registration service operated by [ISI: nama badan hukum lengkap, mis. PT Contoh Karya Nusantara], a legal entity incorporated under the laws of Indonesia, with its registered address at [ISI: alamat terdaftar lengkap beserta kode pos], registration number [ISI: NIB atau nomor pendaftaran PSE]. In this document, "we" means that entity, and "the service" means the site at yarnext.com together with every page, interface, and email it produces.

You can reach us at any time at info@yarnext.com. For anything involving personal data, prefix the subject with [privasi]; for security reports, [keamanan].

2Accepting these terms

By creating an organization, signing in to the organizer panel, registering for an event, or using any part of this service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy, which together form one inseparable agreement.

If you accept these terms on behalf of an organization, company, foundation, or committee, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it. If you are not authorized, do not continue.

You must be at least 18 years old to act as an organizer. To register as an attendee, the age limit is set by the organizer of that event and by the law that applies where the event takes place.

3Two different parties: organizers and registrants

This is the part most often misread, and everything else in this document rests on it. There are two kinds of user here, and our legal relationship with each is different.

PartyWho they areTheir relationship with us
OrganizerThe person or organization that creates an event, builds its form, and receives registrations.Our customer. These terms are their agreement with us.
RegistrantA person who fills in an event registration form through a public link.A user of the service, but their event relationship is with the organizer, not with us.

We provide the tool, not the event. We are not a party to the agreement between an organizer and their registrants, we do not sell the tickets, we do not run the event, and we do not guarantee that it takes place, that it is any good, or that it matches what was promised. Complaints about an event go to its organizer.

The practical consequence: the organizer is the data controller for their registrant data, and we process it on their behalf. That split is set out in the Data Processing Addendum.

4Accounts, sign-in codes, and keeping them safe

This service uses no passwords. You sign in with a six-digit code or a single-use link sent to your email address, and the session that follows lasts up to 90 days or until you revoke it.

Control of your inbox is therefore control of your account. Anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You are responsible for protecting access to the inbox you registered, and for everything done through sessions opened from your account.

  • Sign-in codes are short-lived, single-use, and can never be shown again to anyone, including you.
  • We will never ask for your sign-in code by phone, text message, or email reply. Any such request is fraud.
  • If you suspect someone else has reached your account, revoke the session from the panel and tell us with a subject prefixed [keamanan].

One organization can have several members with different roles. The owner of an organization is responsible for who they invite and for what those members do inside it.

5Plans, fees, and billing

Some parts of the service are free. Paid features, if and when we offer them, will have their price stated before you choose them, including applicable tax, the currency used, and the billing period.

Prices can change. A price change for a running subscription is announced at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may end the subscription before that date without penalty.

As of today this service does not process ticket payments. If an event charges for tickets, that money moves directly between registrant and organizer, outside this service. The Cancellation and Refund Policy explains what that means for both sides.

6Organizer obligations

As an organizer, you represent and warrant that:

  • the event information you publish is accurate, not misleading, and you are in fact entitled to run that event;
  • you have a lawful basis for collecting the personal data your form asks for, and you do not ask for more than you need;
  • the fields you add yourself do not ask for specific categories of personal data — health, beliefs, political views, sexual orientation, biometric data, criminal records — unless you have a clear lawful basis and state it to registrants;
  • you tell your registrants where their data goes, including that this service processes it on your behalf;
  • you respond to registrants asking about their own data — access, correction, deletion — within a reasonable time, because in law it is you who must respond;
  • you follow the Acceptable Use Policy, including the ban on sending bulk invitations to addresses that never opted in.

Your registrant data stays yours. We do not sell it, rent it, use it to train any model, or use it to market anything to your registrants.

7Content you upload

Event names, descriptions, cover images, form labels, and any file you upload remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, display, and transmit that content solely in order to run the service for you — including showing it on the public event page and inside emails sent on your behalf.

That licence ends when you delete the content or close your organization, except for backup copies still cycling through our backup rotation and for anything we are required by law to keep.

You warrant that you hold the rights to the content you upload, including rights to the image of any person appearing in it.

8Capacity, tickets, and check-in

A seat is taken the moment a registration is submitted, not when verification completes. A taken seat is held for thirty minutes; if verification does not finish within that window, the seat is released and becomes available to someone else. This applies to everyone equally and cannot be waived for anyone.

Issued tickets carry a cryptographically signed QR code that can be checked without a network connection by the scanner at the door. A ticket belongs to one registration; copying it, reselling it, or using someone else’s ticket breaches these terms, and the organizer may refuse entry.

Who gets through the door is the organizer’s decision. We supply the instrument that checks, not the authority that decides.

9Availability

We work to keep the service available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance, infrastructure provider failures, network problems, and events beyond our control can make the service temporarily unreachable.

For an event that truly cannot fail, prepare an offline fallback: export your attendee list before the day, and use the door scanner in the offline mode that is built to work without a network.

We may change, add to, or discontinue particular features. Changes that materially reduce a feature you rely on will be announced in advance where circumstances allow.

10Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an organization’s access when:

  • these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy are breached;
  • there is strong reason to believe the use is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful to others;
  • the usage loads the infrastructure so heavily that other organizers are affected;
  • we are required to do so by a valid order from a competent authority.

Where circumstances allow, we warn first and give an opportunity to fix the problem. For breaches that put people at risk, suspension can be immediate.

You may stop using the service at any time by closing your organization. After that, your data is handled according to the retention section of the Privacy Policy. Export whatever you still need before you close it.

11Our intellectual property

The service, including its software, its visual design, and the name YarNext and its marks, belongs to us or to our licensors. These terms transfer no rights in any of that beyond the right to use the service as described.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative works from the service, except to the extent that applicable law or an open-source licence covering part of it forbids that restriction.

12Limitation of liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we give no implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • indirect loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, or damage to reputation;
  • the acts or omissions of an organizer towards their registrants, including events cancelled, postponed, or not as promised;
  • content an organizer publishes on their event page;
  • data loss caused by your own actions, including deletions you carry out.

Our total liability for all events arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you actually paid us in that period or, where you paid nothing, to reasonable and evidenced direct loss.

These limits do not apply to intent, gross negligence, liability for death or personal injury, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory consumer rights are not reduced by this section.

13Indemnity

As an organizer, you hold us harmless against third-party claims arising from your event, the content you publish, the way you collect or use your registrant data, or your breach of these terms — including reasonable legal costs, so far as the claim is not caused by our own fault.

14Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Material changes are announced by email to the organizer address and by a notice inside the panel, at least 30 days before they take effect.

Every version records the date it took effect. The version you accepted at registration is stored together with the exact sentence you were shown, not merely its version number — so that what can be proved is not only that you agreed to something, but what you agreed to.

If you do not accept a change, stop using the service before its effective date. Continuing after that date means accepting the new version.

15Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably within 30 days of written notice by either party are resolved before [ISI: Pengadilan Negeri kota kedudukan hukum].

This choice of law and forum does not remove your right as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live, where the law there gives you that right.

Before taking legal steps, contact us first. Most matters end with the first email.

16Miscellaneous

  • If one part of these terms is held invalid, the rest remains in force.
  • Our failure to act on one breach does not waive our rights over the next one.
  • You may not assign this agreement without our written consent. We may assign it to a successor entity, with notice to you.
  • These terms and the policies that accompany them are the entire agreement between you and us about this service.
  • The Indonesian version is the binding one. Translations are provided for ease of reading.
