Acceptable Use Policy
Which events and behaviours may not be run through this service, and what we do when that line is crossed.
Version v2 · In effect since Sep 21, 2026
1The spirit of this policy
People use this service to gather other people. A tool like that works precisely because people trust the link they receive, and that trust is the one thing that cannot be rebuilt once it breaks.
So this policy is short. The rule is simple: do not use this service to harm people, to deceive people, or to load the service so heavily that other organizers suffer.
2Events that may not be run
You may not use this service to gather people for:
- activity unlawful where the event takes place or where the organizer is established;
- fraud, pyramid schemes, money multiplication, or investment offers promising guaranteed returns;
- unlicensed gambling;
- the sale of prohibited goods or services, including narcotics, weapons, protected wildlife, and forged documents;
- activity advocating hatred or violence against a person or group by ethnicity, religion, race, nationality, sex, disability, or sexual orientation;
- activity that exploits children in any form;
- activity that impersonates an institution, company, or individual in order to mislead attendees.
3Content that may not be published
Event names, descriptions, images, and form labels may not contain:
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other rights of others;
- images of people used without their permission;
- threatening or harassing content, or the personal information of others published without consent;
- malicious code, links to malware, or phishing pages imitating other services;
- misleading statements about who is running the event.
4Limits on how registrant data may be treated
As an organizer, you may not:
- sell, rent, or trade your registrant data to third parties;
- use registrant data for a purpose entirely different from the one you stated when you collected it;
- ask for data plainly unnecessary for your event — a national identity number for a two-hour seminar, for instance;
- keep registrant data longer than you need it and then reuse it years later.
This is not decoration. Registrants hand over their data because they trust your event, not because they agreed to have their names circulate. Breaching it is the fastest route to suspension we act on.
5Email and invitations
This service sends email on your behalf, and the sending reputation behind it is shared by every organizer. One person mailing a purchased list damages the deliverability of someone else’s verification email.
- Do not upload email addresses that were bought, rented, or scraped from other sites.
- Invite only people who are actually expecting to hear from you.
- Do not re-invite people who declined or unsubscribed.
- Do not use this service’s email to send messages unrelated to your event.
Addresses that bounce repeatedly, or whose owners mark the mail as spam, go onto a suppression list, and sending to them stops on its own.
6Technical abuse
You may not:
- attempt to breach isolation between organizers or reach another organization’s data;
- scrape public event pages automatically at a volume that loads the service;
- circumvent rate limits, access code gates, or invitation checks;
- take seats automatically in bulk without intending to attend, including for resale;
- forge or duplicate QR tickets;
- run load tests or penetration tests without our prior written permission;
- reverse engineer, disassemble, or take parts of the service to build a competing one.
Good-faith security testing is welcome, but ask permission first at info@yarnext.com with a subject prefixed [keamanan]. We almost always grant it, and with it our automated alarms will not treat you as an attacker.
7What we do when this is breached
Our response is proportionate. What we may do, from the lightest:
- ask for an explanation, or ask that the content be fixed within a deadline;
- hide the event page from public access;
- stop email delivery from that organization;
- suspend the organization’s access;
- close the organization and delete its data according to the retention section of the Privacy Policy;
- report to a competent authority where a criminal offence or a threat to people’s safety is suspected.
For breaches that endanger people or that plainly break the law, suspension can be immediate and without prior warning. For everything else, we give a chance to put it right.
If you believe we got it wrong, reply to the notice and explain. A wrong decision will be reversed.
8Reporting a breach
If you find an event or content that breaches this policy, report it to info@yarnext.com with a subject prefixed [penyalahgunaan]. Include the link to the event page and describe what you believe is being broken.
We respond to reports within 3 working days. Reports involving people’s safety take priority over whatever else we are doing.
